How do I purchase a cemetery lot?
Cemetery plots/lots may be purchased at the Geneva City Office.When can flowers be left on graves?
Flowers may be placed on graves for Memorial Day and up to 2 weeks after.Flowers may be left at a grave site at the time of burial. When they are wilted, they will be removed without notice.
Can I plant bushes next to a headstone?
Small bushes may be planted in line (on either end) of the headstone, but permission must be given for planting from the city administrator.The City of Geneva assumes NO responsibility for the care of these plantings.
Where do I begin looking for genealogical information?
Please contact the Geneva City Offices for more information. The Geneva Public Library has a Genealogy room where there are records kept not only for Geneva, but for Fillmore County.
